VIDEO: Your Queen’s Birthday outlook: Rain clouds in the north

> From the WeatherWatch archives

High pressure is moving in across NZ for Thursday pushing northern showers even further north – but by the long weekend the showers return and spread across a larger portion of the North Island and even into the upper South Island.

The forecast isn’t all bad news for holidaymakers in the north with mild weather and for most places it won’t be raining all the time, there should be some large dry spells around too.

Bay of Plenty and East Cape may be some of the wettest regions
