Wednesday is a calm, settled, day but Thursday and Friday see another large low moving in with a burst of rain and wind in some places, especially central and northern NZ.
This weekend a colder SWer kicks in for a time but turns milder NW in the North Island on Sunday. But this is all ahead of a colder, wintry, change that may see snow to low levels in Southand, Otago and parts of Canterbury and also into the eastern ranges of the North Island.
We have the latest snow map and details for Sunday/Monday.
