Another mild week for New Zealand but this long weekend some parts of the country may get their first southerly blast as computer modelling continues to line up. Whilst not 100% locked in, weather charts for one week from now show a deep low near the South Island, a large high near Tasmania and a big southerly blast into NZ.
We’ll need a couple more days to confirm this and hope to lock it in by Wednesday.
As for Australia, high pressure dominates with below 5C temperatures next couple of nights in a number of areas to the east , including inland parts of QLD. But southern states share the some windy westerly New Zealand has this week. Full details out to Monday of next week in today’s special update.
