When the winds tilt SW they get cooler, when they tilt NW they get milder – welcome to spring and September’s weather pattern.
The next couple of days ahead sees milder airflows moving in before a cold front with some rain on Friday heads northwards.
This weekend winds are fairly light with a little bit of rain/showers stuck mostly around the upper North Island It all leads to a mild westerly flow kicking of next Monday and Tuesday.
