NZ – Australia – South Pacific — We have your forecast as we head into the weekend with another burst of wintry weather for New Zealand. Heavy rain, heavy snow and severe gales are all possible from Sunday to Tuesday next week, then high pressure from Australia should move in and settle things down – starting in the lower South Island by Wednesday.
Australia has cold nights ahead and the same wintry blasts hitting NZ will also swipe VIC, TAS and parts of SA & NSW. But a big high is rolling through early next week and will be parked over TAS around Tue/Wed.
The tropics have easterlies next week, but heading into the weekend New Caledonia and Vanuatu have a slightly cooler southerly coming out of the Tasman Sea area. For more detailed please visit WeatherWatch.co.nz or RuralWeather.co.nz
