FIXED (Apologies, the video link wasn’t displaying correctly earlier) — Australia is sending NZ high pressure – but also another rainmaker with some snow.
Typical spring-weather is kicking in now and that means changeable temperatures and real variety in our weather.
Mild northerlies from Aussie will move into NZ this weekend – replacing the wintry change we’ve seen this week. But by Tuesday the next surge of cold sou’westers moves back in to southern NZ with a big temperature drop. Like the cold change this week, it looks short lived.
Meanwhile in Australia heavy rain is expected north of the Yarra Ranges and west of the ranges up to about Sydney, with up to 50mm over the coming days for some. Lower totals in the east for Sydney.
