A cold front moves into NZ on Friday but it’s pretty weak – but it will help spark a new low for the North Island in particular on Saturday.
The low looks to be short lived for Friday and Saturday – and as it moves over the North Island on Saturday PM it should fall apart. Rainfall totals don’t look excessive in any regions, BUT – we do have to monitor it because there could be a sub-tropical element to it and with so much high pressure around this low it will be slow moving – in other words, it could trigger some localised downpours, otherwise the rain bands are patchy and broken.
We have your forecast for NZ through to Monday next week.
