Autumn is finally coming to life with a couple of south west blasts across New Zealand between now and Sunday while next week kicks off with more calm and dry high pressure.
Both Thursday and Sunday appear to have the biggest and windiest surges northwards with Sunday’s event the peak of the winds and cold with single digit daytime highs in Southland and Otago.
Meanwhile next week high pressure rolls in, continuing the drier and milder than normal trend
