NZ has at least two major storms tracking just south of us over the next week, both lows into the 950hPa range, or maybe lower.
This is more like the depths of winter. In Tuesday’s video we explain this set up and how windy weather will continue off and on this week and next.
We also have some advice on maybe going with the astronomical start date for summer this year (Dec 21) – it may make the spring-like weather NZ has now a little easier to accept!
PROGRAMMING NOTE: Apologies, we have no weather video on Wednesday due to travel, back Thursday!
