VIDEO: Sub-tropical winds to push temperatures above normal for days

We’re really in the depths of winter right now – but you wouldn’t really know it.

The air pressure systems around NZ are encouraging sub-tropical winds down across the nation in the coming days.

While tonight will again be cold for the North Island, the South Island is leaning warmer than average both by day and night.

We track the set up until early next week
