VIDEO: Sub-tropical winds, another powerful high, some northern rain

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The weird winter of 2020 continues as we leave frosty weather and replace with sub-tropical winds.

Temperatures across NZ will lift up over the next couple of days.

We also see more rain moving in later this week – but it’s patchy in the North Island and regions may still lean drier than normal because high pressure will increase again this week with another powerful high pressure system moving in from the west to south west.
