VIDEO: Sub-tropical winds and a Tasman Sea low main features of this week

> From the WeatherWatch archives

This week kicks off warmer in most regions thanks to north to north west winds out of both Australia and the sub-tropics.

Southern NZ isn’t so mild with a cold change on Tuesday and again on Friday – but fairly ok weather in between.

Generally speaking this week is a bit wet in the west, mild and dry in the east and north while cool at times in the south.

Sound like spring!
