A huge stormy area of low pressure is impacting Australia’s entire southern coastline and bringing milder weather to New Zealand.
The set up looks likely to remain for at least another week.
New Zealand’s weather is actually less severe than it has been in recent weeks/months – but still some heavy West Coast rain later this week and blustery northerly quarter winds kicking in for a time around Saturday.
