VIDEO: Storms in the tropics & Australia, NZ dry but showers coming

> From the WeatherWatch archives

We have New Zealand’s long weekend Waitangi forecast plus another look at the tropics across the South Pacific and Australia as we enter peak storm season.

While Lucus and Ana are now both ex-tropical cyclones more cyclone activity is possible around Fiji and Queensland in the next week.

Meanwhile New Zealand has a mainly settled weekend coming but a few showers and cooler southerlies may clip the eastern North Island.

Next week humidity levels increase in NZ with showers for dry northern regions – while a colder change moves into the south by mid week.
