At least three lows and two large highs are impacting both NZ and Australia this week bringing variety to our weather.
The main feature for NZ today is a low developing over the eastern North Island driving in some heavy rain and localised winds to the lower eastern North Island in particular – meanwhile frosty weather looks likely for inland parts of the South Island again tonight.
High pressure grows in NZ later this week as low pressure grows along the southern half of Australia.
Our final Monday update for the month of September!

That depression next week is looking interesting with the high parking itself near Campbell Island. Slow moving humid depression and a feed of cold air…
