We have some very mild weather next couple days but it’s ahead of a large storm likely to form by Sunday and next Monday south of NZ – but brushing NZ.
The winds are likely to be very strong with a barometric pressure drop of 100hPa between a high in Aussie and this storm forecast in the Southern Ocean (based on today’s models).
It’s important to note the storm is not forecast to directly hit NZ = but severe weather is likely in both islands.
