We have a southerly heading up the country today with some rain and showers, then high pressure expands again before the next rain, burst of wind and southerly change this coming weekend. Fairly typical spring chaos.
However next week La Nina may again be more obvious with higher humidity, an increase in sub-tropical airflows, a possible bigger Tasman Sea low and some afternoon inland downpours with isolated thunder in both islands.
