There’s a fairly active weather pattern around NZ this week but despite the snow and incoming rain many regions will lean drier than average thanks to a lot of high pressure still in the area.
A cold front over the next day or so will bring snow to the ski fields of both main islands – but the front falls apart as it heads northwards and helps form a large low pressure zone that will bring in days of east to south east winds for the north.
Australia has plenty of high pressure zones but a few cold fronts will brush the south.
