A weak area of low pressure will move across the upper North Island this weekend and bring more welcome rain (although the timing on a Saturday isn’t usually ideal for everyone!).
On Sunday a powerful high south of Australia moves in and bulldozers this low away. The high then dominates across next week bringing milder than usual weather to many regions, especially later in the week.
However, a new low may form in the Tasman Sea next Friday and move into NZ by next weekend. It’s still a messy “not locked in” setup, but – it’s also definitely worth monitoring if you need rain (or don’t want rain!).
Have a great weekend – thank you for supporting us!

Just a pity this cycle we’re in has coincided with the weekends 🙁
