NZ just had a rain event – and it looks as though another one is on the way. With rain starting this week in the west again due to low pressure over the Tasman Sea, another low is already deepening in the tropics and looks likely to become a tropical cyclone.

Regardless of if it becomes a named storm, it’s expected to drop south into NZ enhancing rainfall across the North Island and upper South Island again.
