VIDEO: Polar air for parts of NZ but high pressure in the mix too

A wintry sou’west flow continues across NZ with pulses of colder air over the coming days, but high pressure is also on the way for the weekend/start of next week in some areas, mostly the South Island.

Next week a low north of NZ will bring in some wet northern weather – but elsewhere next week looks to start off fairly dry, but colder in the eastern North Island.
