VIDEO: Pockets of severe weather, but high pressure dominates overall

Rain with some heavy falls is the main focus in the east of both NZ and Australia over the coming days with a similar set up in both nations.

The rain falls apart over the weekend as high pressure slides around.

Next week a stormy low tracks along the southern coastline of Australia but NZ is still mostly impacted by high pressure and both easterlies and northerlies – but some West Coast rain.
