VIDEO: NZ’s outlook to Sunday as cooler winds start to heat back up

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A colder, windiest, airflow is spreading over NZ today and Wednesday, sparking a few thunderstorms in the east and more cloud for the west.

Despite the cool down, many places will be warmer by week’s end as airflows shift from exiting the Southern Ocean to instead exiting Australia and the sub-tropics. Most places will be warmer by Friday and Saturday than they are today or tomorrow.

We track the NZ forecast to Sunday.
