Today is the spring equinox and a low pressure zone is moving down over the North Island bringing some rain and gales – also large areas of dry and calm.
The South Island is under high pressure while Australia continues have wind, rain and colder air focus itself around the south eastern corner of the nation for the days ahead.
If you’re up in Queensland it’s pretty quiet weather-wise at the moment! We have the weather across New Zealand for the long weekend – and the outlook for both NZ and Australia to Wednesday next week.
