VIDEO: NZ: Frosts, warmth – then weekend showers

High pressure is above to briefly track over NZ bringing frosts tonight, but more wind and rain is coming for this weekend as another southerly kicks into gear.

It’s a classic spring set up around NZ with gale southerlies easing today, high pressure rolling in tomorrow, northerlies later in the week and a weekend southerly with showers and a few thunderstorms as the cold front moves nationwide.
