We track high pressure and showers around NZ & Australia plus the latest on Canada’s wildfires as Hilary’s rain moves in.
For NZ and Australia high pressure is dominating more in the weeks ahead with fewer big rain events and low pressure.
However around the edges of these constantly-moving high pressure zones there are plenty of showers for coastal parts of New Zealand and Australia – but generally speaking a drier trend is arriving.
We also track the rain from former Hurricane Hilary as it moves into the Pacific North’West of USA and then into the Rocky Mountains of Canada – in particular British Columbia which is being burnt by out of control wildfires. The rain will be very welcome.
