A huge storm in the Southern Ocean next week will brush NZ bringing an unsettled start to December while November goes out on warm note.

The next few days ahead are warmer than normal in most parts of NZ with a little bit of West Coast rain and some northern and western showers for the North Island – but it won’t be much.

Next week a huge storm in the Southern Ocean (about 3 times the size of Australia!) will brush NZ with the South Island most exposed to severe weather. We have the latest.
