The unsettled almost spring-like pattern over NZ continues for the rest of December and looks to ease as we kick of January 2025. High pressure zones are in the mix but they aren’t overly powerful or dominant. Low pressure zones are still driving in windy and wet periods for NZ – along with thunderstorms from time to time.

We track NZ’s weather for the end of 2024 and start of 2025.
