NZ has a big shift in airflows, away from the frosty southerlies and back to the mild northerlies.
This weekend should temperatures jump, especially by night, compared to where they have been over the past 72 hours.
Some wet weather will also move in from the west, out of Tasmania area which has some windy/wet weather in the days ahead.
Next week there are conflicting models – some show a big low with rain/wind around Wednesday, others show calmer weather with more high pressure. For updates over the weekend please refer to the forecasts at WeatherWatch.co.nz and RuralWeather.co.nz.
