A giant area of high pressure will be parked in the Tasman Sea for the next week and it will be hugging NZ bringing mostly dry, settled, weather across the country.
This same high will deliver a showery easterly into much of the eastern coastline of Australia (QLD & NSW).
Next week while high pressure continues to dominate most of NZ, two sizeable lows will be impacting both western and south eastern Australia.
