Milder weather is moving into New Zealand this weekend and early next week with sub-tropical connections – but rain is also in the forecast, especially for the upper and north eastern North Island.
East Cape and Western BoP look to have some of the heaviest rain – but generally speaking most rain is below warning thresholds for NZ.
Milder winds continue on into NZ next week with more of a westerly theme by mid-week. Temperatures by day will be several degrees above normal for some inland areas.
The incoming low pressure zone is fairly weak – and falls apart next week entirely.
Australia is quite dry over the coming week but a cold front does move into southern WA, then coastal SA, VIC and TAS – but rainfall is generally quite low.
We have your NZ and Australia forecast through to Wednesday next week.
