It’s a frustrating forecast for those who need rain with a lot of low pressure forming north of NZ this weekend and across next week – but at the same time an even more powerful high pressure system south of NZ will push back against it.
We show you the 50/50 borderline set up for rain in the north of the country next week.

Have you considered using white shading for those areas of NZ that are neither above average (yellow/red) or below average (light or dark blue)?
This will make for a much easier map to read, without random terrain colours coming through and confusing things….
