VIDEO: High pressure and northerlies kicking in this weekend

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A colder change is moving up NZ over the next day or two but by Friday warmer air starts to return.

This weekend high pressure will be parked just east of the nation – encouraging a milder northerly flow down the country.

Many regions will see a few showers, but other than the West Coast most places lean drier than average across the next week.
