Gale force east to south east winds along with some areas of heavy rain makes up the Wednesday/Thursday forecast, especially for parts of the North Island and central NZ.
Further south high pressure is dominating.
We take a close up look at the heavy impacting East Cape, Gisborne and Hawke’s Bay and the heavy rain just brushing Auckland (finally moving in this afternoon though).
