Another burst of severe weather is possible this Sunday and Monday across NZ as a windy northerly kicks in bringing more heavy rain to the upper South Island.
It places Nelson and Tasman and Marlborough back in the risk zone with 100mm+ possible in the ranges at this early stage which head forecaster Philip Duncan desribes as “not ideal” for the recently flooded regions.
We also take a look at windy (milder) weather moving in over Australia and NZ in the coming week.
