Rain returns to QLD, NZ has a colder southerly but high pressure and more settled weather is now trying to expand across southern Australia and this coming weekend into NZ.
A cold front in the Tasman Sea for this start of this week is bringing offshore thunderstorms from Sydney and this cold front moves up the South Island on Tuesday and the North Island on Wednesday – and falls apart.
Some low pressure also moves through and that will help bring in mild weather to NZ for Monday and Tuesday but a colder (or refreshing) Wednesday to Saturday.
Heaviest rain this week will be in coastal QLD. There’s also an area of low pressure now somewhat stuck in the Coral Sea area – worth monitoring as we go into December.
