VIDEO: December arrives with spring winds, La Nina weather vanishes (for now)

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The Southern Ocean is stormy and NZ will be affected by windy westerlies off and on this week and into the coming weekend.

A low on Monday will also cross NZ tonight, bringing a colder and gale force southerly into parts of New Zealand on Tuesday.

By Wednesday calmer weather moves into the north while winds return to the south as another storm tracks by.

For the first week of December, it will sure feel like mid-spring!
