VIDEO: Colder weather moves over NZ until Sunday, then northern low forms

> From the WeatherWatch archives

The wintry change with some polar connections is moving into the South Island today and will extend into the North Island over the coming day or so.

The cold air will come in waves, with another shot of cold weather on Friday and Saturday, before a change on Sunday slightly warms things up.

By Monday a low in northern NZ (fairly weak) looks to be the next system moving in.
