VIDEO: Cold weather, some lower level snow, then more dry high pressure

> From the WeatherWatch archives

NZ has a cold change coming, especially the South Island with snow down to just a few hundred metres and a few isolated flurries going lower.

However precipitation levels are either normal or below normal in the week ahead – meaning totals won’t be great. Coldest air looks to be around Friday and Saturday.

High pressure dominates NZ’s weather for another 10 days.
