VIDEO: Cold front moves northwards, wintry lower SI

> From the WeatherWatch archives

A cold front is moving up the South Island today and tonight and the South Island on Wednesday bringing a nationwide temperature drop behind it with some parts of the lower South Island not making it into double digits tomorrow at the warmest part of the day,

There will be another dusting of snow over the southern ranges on Wednesday.

But in true spring style it’s short lived – with milder westerlies returning in the south on Thursday – ahead of the next cold front moving up NZ this coming weekend.
