It’s been over 10 days of above-normal temperatures and sub-tropical airflows, now a big classic Cold Front is on the way with a south to south west change behind it.
The cold air is already dominating the south eastern corner of Australia today and tomorrow – and reaches the South Island of NZ by Tuesday night and Wednesday, and the North Island over Thursday.
Temperatures drop over 10 degrees for some South Island regions and in the upper North Island daytime highs at the end of this week will be lower than the recent overnight lows have been!
By Friday and the weekend in comes a big high with sunnier, settled weather for many parts of both Australia and NZ – and maybe some inland frosts too.
Full forecast to Saturday….
