Rain, showers and thunderstorms will help bring a wetter start to November for eastern parts of Australia – especially between Sydney and Brisbane, with spillover wet weather further south and north than that too.
The set-up for the next week is a slow one, encouraging plenty of repeat weather each day for the east.
Temperatures are again fluctuating for many in the southern half of Australia – but generally most main centres aren’t as hot or stormy as they were last week.
However, excessive heat (40c+) continues along the top half – where it remains mostly dry, apart from thunderstorms through the central interior towards Alice Springs.
