Tuesday is the peak of the southerly blast in the south with windy weather nationwide continuing on until tonight.
Snow flurries in Southland, Otago and Fiordland will continue to sea level – or near sea level – until tonight.
On Wednesday milder winds return – and they kick in even more so by Thursday and Friday with high pressure returning to northern NZ.
**PROGRAMMING NOTE: We have no weather video on Wednesday, we’re back again Thursday!
