VIDEO: A Tuesday cold front but then a huge high rolls in afterwards

> From the WeatherWatch archives

If you want sunny, dry and mild weather you’ll probably love this forecast. Once we get through some cloud and rain on Tuesday a big high rolls in for Wednesday and lingers through until Sunday.

It means mild days, cool nights and mainly dry weather. In fact most of NZ will be drier than average over the next 7 days with the exception of the West Coast (which has a wet Monday and showery Tuesday).

By Sunday sub-tropical winds will be moving back in to some regions making for a warm start to next week.
