High pressure slides off New Zealand this weekend and as it does it briefly brings mild northerlies in.
By next week low pressure covers the South Island and as we go into next week another cold surge of windy sou’westers heads right up and over the country by Wednesday.
Later next week, another big high moves closer to us from Australia.
