> From the WeatherWatch archives

Here’s the latest rain and flood risk maps or New Zealand, for the 24 hours from 6pm Wednesday to 6pm Thursday.

Please refer to your WeatherWatch.co.nz or RuralWeather.co.nz forecast for hyper-local rainfall totals.

We expect more significant flooding across the Nelson and Tasman region on Thursday, and some flooding along the West Coast. There’s also now a developing risk for flooding in the northern half of Northland as rain starts to set in there.

We support MetService warnings, but for more detail where you are please check our rainfall maps and your hyper-local rainfall totals at WeatherWatch.co.nz and RuralWeather.co.nz.

Stay safe – and please don’t drive across flooded highways/roads.

Significant rainfall is still ahead for Nelson, Takaka and other parts of New Zealand – please visit RuralWeather.co.nz to drill down deeper in your hyper-local part of NZ (we have every location covered) and keep up to date with MetService Warnings.
