New footage has been sent in to WeatherWatch.co.nz of a hail storm in Wairarapa around noon yesterday.
The hail was caused by a wintry cold front that is brushing the east coast of New Zealand.

Thank you for that, I just love the weather and would love to go storm chasing especially in tornado ally. I love doing this sort of thing, I have my own weather station now (thanks to my bro) and watch these sort of sites all the time, and also the lightning detector here and watch the thunderstorms move over NZ.
