Two commuter trains have collided at Plimmerton, north of Wellington
There are no reports of serious injuries however a number have suffered minor injuries.
Reports are one of the trains hit a mud slip across the tracks caused by heavy rain in the region, the other then crashed into the back of it.
A St John ambulance spokesperson confirmed there were no serious injuries among the passengers. She said there were 66 passengers on the trains – 50 on one and 16 on the other.
