Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
A mix of sun and cloud, chance of a shower late afternoon / evening. Bay Of Plenty and the Coromandel may see cloudier skies with the odd shower during the day. Light winds then afternoon sea breezes.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny, there may be a touch of high cloud. South to southeasterly winds.
Highs: 18-24
Eastern North Island
Mostly cloudy with the odd shower, southerly winds.
Highs: 16-18
Wellington
A mix of sun and cloud, southeasterly winds.

Marlborough & Nelson
A mix of sun and cloud, chance of a shower inland late afternoon or evening otherwise mainly dry. Easterly winds for Marlborough, northerlies for Nelson.

Canterbury
A bit cloudy, chance of a shower, some sun may break through late in the day before dusk. Light winds tend to the east by midday.

West Coast
