Mainly settled over New Zealand today thanks to high pressure, just a few showers in the far south.


Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Mostly sunny, Northland has some cloud though, Auckland may see a few clouds in the afternoon. Light winds.
Highs: 13 – 15


Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny, there may be some coastal cloud at times. Light winds tend westerly in the afternoon.
Highs: 8 – 13


Eastern North Island
Sunny, early showers clear Mahia Peninsula. Light winds tend east to northeast in the afternoon.
Highs: 14 – 15


Wellington
Sunny, light northerlies.
Highs: 12 – 13


Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny, light winds tend onshore in the afternoon.
Highs: 13 – 15


Canterbury
Sunny, light northwesterlies tend east to northeast in the afternoon.
Highs: 14 – 15


West Coast
Mostly sunny, some cloud for Fiordland with a few showers, coastal South Westland may have some cloud also. Light winds.
Highs: 11 – 14


Southland & Otago
A few showers for Southland, clearing in the afternoon with sunny spells increasing. Mostly sunny for Central Otago, partly cloudy nearer the coast. Light west to northwesterly winds.
